For three days Rinpoche will lead the sangha in Namchak Tsasum Lingpa's terma treasure "The Unsurpassable Union of Yangdak and Phurba" from the cycle "The Dark Red Amulet".  This practice is traditionally performed during the time of Losar (Tibetan New Year) in order to avert obstacles, clear the path for auspicious new beginnings and create positive circumstances for the future.  This year the drubchöd will be held November 29 - December 1, 2019.  Yangphur, when performed together in a group, is particularly effective and beneficial.

Each day of the drubchöd will include the sadhana of Yangphur, a tsog (feast offering), and dokpa (averting obstacles).  Rinpoche will bestow the Yangphur Empowerment at 7 pm on Friday, November 29th.  The drubchöd will conclude with Gu-Tor (torma burning ritual for averting negativity) in the afternoon on Sunday, December 1st, we will gather at Tibetan Association of Santa Fe for burning of Averting Torma 5 pm. Thukpa will be served to all for dinner 6 pm: Return to PKL for concluding prayers.
