Yangchen Chodron is thirty-one years old. She was born in Eastern Tibet in the province of Kham. She has studied in the the Gaechak Nunnery in Tibet. Climbing the snowy mountains of the great Himalayas with many dangers on her way, she finally made her way to exile. Since then she has been following Tulku Sang-ngag's instructions and has already completed the three year retreat in Nepal. Currently she is the main coordinator of the nunnery.
