Ngawang Palmo is nineteen years old. She was born in the central region of Tibet. Before coming to the Turquoise Leaf Nunnery, she took the nun vows from Kyabe-je Tulshik Rinpoche. She joined the Turquoise Leaf Nunnery December 2, 2002. She has a full desire to study Tibetan Buddhism. Her first wish is to go for retreat. She is now ready as ever to find the answers to the true and pure path of the dharma. Currently she is a umtse of the nunnery.
