The Phurpa Ling Retreat Center was first established in 1988 by the sixth Gochen Tulku Sang-Ngag Rinpoche. Retreats at the Phurpa Ling Retreat Center are taken in strict guidance of the Nyingma tradition. This retreat center is for monks doing a three year retreat and monks receiving additional teachings such as "The Treasury of Qualities". The cost of living expenses for an individual monk or staff at the center is $40.00/month per individual. Any amount you can offer to support a monk in retreat or study earns much merit.
