Konchog Chotso is thirty-eight years old. She was born in Kham Riwoche. Since early childhood she has always wanted to become a nun. Her parents tried to send her to school, but she always ran away from school and came back home. She continued helping her family work and was unable to continue her daily practice. With her constant request to her parents, finally she was granted her dream to become a nun at the age of twenty. She came to India and joined Penor Rinpoche's Nunnery. There she studied for six years. Due to the extreme type of climate in southern India, she fell sick again and again (she has been constantly sick from early childhood). Finally, she came to Nepal and joined the Yuloko Jetsun Ling Nunnery hoping for better climate in the Himalayas. She is still continuing to take medication in the care of the Yuloko Nunnery. She is doing her daily practice as much as she can.
