Aga Lama is thirty-seven years old. He was born in Kham Doshul. He received his monk's vows from Lama Kunga. He has received many teachings from Lama Kunga. Making the tiring and dangerous journey across the Himalayas to exile, he took up residence at Tulku Sang-ngag's retreat center and has received many teachings from him. He completed his first three year retreat under Tulku Sang-ngag's guidance. He also the main Gaeko (monitor) of the retreat center and main cook for Rinpoche.
